On May 16-17, 2017, CRS participated at WSMC at Washington DC and presented its achievements on Sangini Franchising Network and RAI program. The Managing Director and Training Manager participated in the conference. This conference is the largest Social Marketing conference in the world, where experts, practitioners, academics and policy makers from various social marketing organizations come together to discuss and share issues and challenges faced in social marketing programs.
A key learning from the conference was the importance of ‘segmentation’ in social marketing in having an impact on the target population. Proper and accurate segmentation of the population as per the program needs will help in designing appropriate activities and interventions for meeting the program’s objectives.
